The Korea Building Material and Interior Design Exhibition was held from the 26th of February to the 1st of March 2020. It was a spectacular event that brought a large crowd of architects, designers and engineers to fill many a hotel in Seoul. Myeongdong and the nearby areas are known haunts of the creators and this occasion was one that drew them in their droves.
The exhibition was held from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm and hosted over 110,000 visitors and 950 exhibitors. Organisers that stayed in local hotels like Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro mentioned that the turnout was much higher than expected and that visitors they’d spoken to were very enlightened and enjoyed their visit. The programme was an epic success.
