Krabi Hits Record Arrivals with China Claiming Lion’s Share – More and More Tourists are Flying to this Exotic Destination!

Passenger arrivals to Krabi have seen a drastic growth with a record high of 66 percent in 2016. The staggering growth has been recorded in the latest Krabi Hotel Market update which was carried out by a Phuket based tourist consultancy organization, C9 Hotelworks. The report which was shared with the public shows a compilation of 14,352 direct and outbound flights arriving at Krabi International Airport just in 2016. Most of the arrivals that have been recorded are from South East Asian countries with China claiming a larger portion. Thanks to the large number of tourists flocking to the region, visitors will find that there are many a Krabi resort hotel, such as the Anantara Si Kao Resort offering personalised services and fine accommodation.
