Kuala Lumpur Among Top 10 Business Event Destinations – The ICCA Statistics Report 2019

According to an ICCA Statistics Report, Kuala Lumpur is among the Top 10 Business Event Destinations which is the best ranking for the city in seven years. Malaysia was praised for its “relative success” in handling the Coronavirus crisis. This goes on to show that once conventions are re-established, hosts are more likely to consider a hotel in Kuala Lumpur for their conventions, fairs and exhibitions.

This report has been received with a lot of gusto in Malaysia by local hotels the likes of PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur and others who clock some formidable business tourists throughout the year. According to the CEO of the Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) Datuk Sri Abdul Khani Daud, this puts Kuala Lumpur in the perfect position for the resurgence of business tourism in the latter part of 2020.
