Lanka Challenge Rickshaw Adventure – An Exciting Journey Around the Country in a Rickshaw

An entertaining quest across 1,000 km around Sri Lanka, the Lanka Challenge Rickshaw Adventure is a fund-raising programme set to be held from the 8th to the 17th of September, 2017. The Lanka Challenge Southern Route includes several checkpoints from Minuwangoda to Colombo. The route for the challenge is expected to pass through Mirissa on the 8th day and those who wish to catch some of the action can consider accommodation options at hotels in Mirissa including those situated by the sea such as Esprit d’ici Hotel. An exciting journey across Sri Lanka on a rickshaw, the event will contribute a significant amount towards helping local communities and 10% of one’s participation fee will be given to “Meaningful Travel Projects” that encompass school visits in the rural areas of the country.
