The Hoi An lantern festival is one of the important festivals celebrated by Vietnamese people. It takes place a day before the full moon in each month except in February. People in Vietnam think that it is the best way to pay tribute to their ancestors by offering flowers, fruits and burning incense on this day. Those who missed the chance to view this festival in April can take part in the May celebrations which will be falling on 28th May 2018.
