Participants from all continents gathered in Malaysia this year for Le Tour De Langkawi 2018. The race is said to have been the most challenging race in Asia where cyclists had to cover several different types of terrain and endure throughout the 8 stages that go as far as 1200km. The race kicked off at Kangar and came to an end in Kuala Lumpur. Fully approved by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), Le Tour De Langkawi is considered one of the biggest races in Asia.
Asia had the highest number of teams (13 teams) of cyclists with good experience, hoping to conquer the terrain in Langkawi. Resorts such as the likes of Berjaya Langkawi Resort had an inflow of guests, fans of this big event, who came to witness the thrill of Le Tour De Langkawi 2018.
