Leading French travel agents visit Sri Lanka to enjoy real local hospitality – Promoting the destination

Sri Lanka continues to boost its tourism sector despite the many economic difficulties. Recently, French agents arrived in the country to witness its natural beauty, colourful culture, and ancient history. These travellers were sightseeing some of the best places to visit in Sri Lanka which include Kandy, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, and Passikudah. They also got the opportunity to visit some of the underrated destinations on the island the likes of Inginiyagala and Galoya.

The tour was organised by well-known travel agents Connaissance De Ceylan Ltd who partnered with Sri Lanka Tourism Bureau and Sri Lankan Airlines. This tour was in hopes that the country will be able to attract more tourists in order to help their economy to bounce back and improve. Hotel chains like Araliya Resorts & Spas are also preparing to receive more foreign guests in the near future.
