Lobster Festival 2018 – Vibes of Phuket gastronomy

If lobster is a seafood delicacy that delights you just at the thought of it, the place to be is at the Lobster festival in Thailand! Organized by the Pracharat Rak Samakki Phuket which is a social enterprise formed between the private sector, Ministry of Interior and civil groups the event is bound to have been a blast inside your mouth! Several restaurants joined in to make this event a success.
Some of the dishes served were grilled lobster, sushi lobster and noodle lobster in many variations. Special discounts were offered on the 12th of August as Mother’s Day is celebrated on this date in Thailand. Holidaymakers from Phuket luxury villas in Thailand such as the famed Kata Rocks made their way to the festival that took place in Wichitsongkran Road. The purpose of this event was to promote Phuket as a gastronomic destination that is now recognized by UNESCO as one of the 18 Cities of Gastronomy in the world!
