Macau among the Top 5 Most Sought After Travel Destinations – A Tourist Hotspot in Asia

According to a recent online article by Macau Daily Times, Macau is ranked number five when it comes to the world’s most visited cities. The findings are part of the annually published report by Euromonitor International, a market research company based in the UK. Macau continues to be a popular draw for tourists with a special focus on the gambling industry as it is home to quite a number of casinos. From Macau five star hotels including the likes of Hotel Okura Macau to budget properties, visitors also have a range of accommodation options to choose from.

The report by Euromonitor International ranks Hong Kong as the number one city when it comes to international tourism arrivals, followed by Bangkok, London, Singapore and then Macau. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Vegas of China’, Macau is hoping to draw more tourists this year and rise in the rankings.
