Malaysia Aviation Group’s Airlines first to enable gate-to-gate connectivity in Malaysia

The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has given regulatory approval for MAG Airlines (Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, and MASwings), enabling passengers to remain connected to the internet for the duration of their journey, without being required to switch off their personal or handheld devices. The CEO of MAG Airlines went on to describe the decision as a step towards providing exceptional customer service, and innovative travel experiences, as part of an ongoing effort to revolutionize the travel experience.

The first airline to provide this feature for travellers departing Malaysia, this enables its passengers to remain connected with family, or work contacts – allowing modern businessmen and entrepreneurs to stay professionally active in between visits from a Penang business hotel such as the ever-popular Citadines Connect Georgetown Penang, therefore boosting productivity and minimizing downtime in between bouts of travel.
