Malaysia’s Tourist Arrivals Rise with a New Government
A new government; a new change and new hope for Penang Beach Resorts and tourist lodgings in other regions of Malaysia. As reported on The Edge Markets on the 26th of November 2022, Malaysia is hopeful of a higher number of tourist arrivals as the country’s government changes. Therefore, hotels like PARKROYAL Penang Resort will be able to welcome a higher inflow of guests in the coming months.
As stated by Iskandar Mirza Mohd Yusof, Domestic and Event Division Senior Director of Tourism Malaysia, the resumption of international flights to Malaysia had played a major role in uplifting the country’s tourist arrivals. Further, he also mentioned that the country will continue to organize physical exhibitions for the same purpose. Most of Malaysia’s tourist arrivals under the new government have been from ASEAN and European countries.
