Maldives collaborates with Surfers to highlight Maldives as a Destination – Bringing together surfers to the Coasts of the Maldives

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), also known as Visit Maldives, recently partnered with ‘Surf Session,’ a specialised media platform focused on surfing. In a collaborative effort, a captivating familiarization trip and an extensive digital campaign were organised to position the Maldives as a premier surfing destination within the French market, highlighting the potential for water sports activities in the Maldives and possibly bringing business to hotels such as the OZEN Reserve Bolifushi.

The strategic initiative not only solidified the Maldives’ standing as a top-tier surf destination but also generated enthusiasm within the Surf Session readership and the broader surfing community. By showcasing the Maldives’ unique surfing experiences through the campaign, it significantly increased visibility and recognition among French surfers, contributing to the reinforcement of the Maldives brand in the competitive French market.
