From pristine beaches to bold partnerships—the Maldives makes waves on the world stage.
The Maldives reaffirmed its status as a global tourism powerhouse at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, held in Dubai from April 28 to May 1. With over 55,000 attendees, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) showcased the nation’s tourism strengths alongside 235 delegates from 110 companies. The striking double-decker stand highlighted cultural performances, authentic cuisine, and a creative Liverpool FC collaboration.
Key agreements were signed with leading travel partners such as Emirates and Qatar Airways, strengthening connectivity to the archipelago. As part of the immersive presence, MMPRC hosted a cultural showcase—Maldivian Evening 2025—celebrating the island nation’s rich heritage.
With rising interest from the Middle East, and initiatives like Visit Maldives Week, the country continues to draw discerning travellers to its shores. Iconic Maldives beach resort offerings like the lavish Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon reflect the destination’s blend of natural beauty and modern comfort, reinforcing the Maldives’ role in shaping the future of tourism.
