Maldives takes part in Online Travel Mart (OTM) Indian Ocean & Africa 2018 – A smart convention!

Maldives participated in this year’s Online Travel Mart (OTM) Indian Ocean & Africa 2018 Russia. The event commenced on the 16th and extended for 6 days till the 22nd of July and it was held online at the Profi.Travel portal for the third time. Taking the fair online was an innovative idea that was first executed by Profi.Travel in 2014. Online fairs are the trend of the 21st century as they can be more cost effective than traditional conventions and can also attract a larger audience. Over 390 professionals from trade, travel and hospitality industries participated in the Maldives Session. According to reports it has been stated that many queries about Maldives were resolved during the events and the event has increased the interest of Russian travel organizers to add Maldives resorts the likes of Baros Maldives to their itinerary.
