Maldives Tourism Sees Upward Trend with Over 45,000 Tourist Arrivals in June

In the first twelve days of June, the Maldives has warmly greeted more than 45,000 tourists, according to the Ministry of Tourism. The latest statistics reveal a 0.7 per cent increase in visitor arrivals compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the overall tourist influx in 2023 has seen significant growth of 14.4 per cent, with a total of 854,409 visitors since the beginning of the year. India has reclaimed its position as the top tourist market, surpassing Russia, while the United Kingdom holds the third spot.
