The Maldivian Tourism Promotion Bureau has invited the world to experience the best of the country in the month of March. The island nation is sunny all year-round; however, it does experience two seasons – the dry and the wet. Travelers who are looking forward to holidaying at Maldives 5 star resorts the likes of OZEN Reserve Bolifushi should plan their trip between November and April.
Those who want to experience the sunny side of the Maldives should ideally visit Kaafu Atoll during March as it is the sunniest time of the year with over 200 hours of sunshine. This is also the peak season and resort rates will escalate during this period. However, with each resort inhabiting its own island, tourists will not have to contend with massive crowds like they might during the peak tourist season in any other destination.
