Blending culture, comfort, and connectivity – Marrakech continues to shine

Marrakech’s tourism sector recorded a 6% rise in overnight stays during the first half of 2025, reaffirming its status as Morocco’s leading destination. According to Morocco’s Tourism Observatory, the city welcomed nearly 5 million stays, supported by a 71% hotel occupancy rate—up from 68% last year.

June marked a particularly strong month with more than 784,000 overnight stays, a sign of the city’s enduring appeal to both local and international visitors. Improved infrastructure, wider air connectivity, and targeted marketing campaigns have further enhanced the visitor experience, making Marrakech more accessible than ever.

Luxury properties, including La Maison Arabe by Cenizaro, highlight the city’s high-end hospitality scene, offering unique stays such as a private balcony room in Marrakech. These upscale options, combined with cultural richness and modern facilities, ensure the city appeals to travellers of all kinds.
