MasterChef Australia Judge George Calombaris Visits Sri Lanka – A True Culinary Treat

George Calombaris, the celebrity television personality, restaurateur and the much-loved judge of MasterChef Australia visited Sri Lanka recently. The veteran chef commenced his four-day tour to the island on the 7th of May and was hosted by one of the luxurious hotels in Colombo. An acclaimed chef, George Calombaris kick-started his career at one of Melbourne’s five-star hotels and won the Bonland National Apprentice Award at a very young age of 27. The MasterChef judge conducted a series of interactive programmes and seminars while sharing his experiences and knowledge during his stay in Sri Lanka. The event was held in partnership with many well known local brands including Walkers Tours which offers a range of Sri Lanka tours. Lucky fans of Chef Calombaris had the opportunity to savour his culinary masterpieces at two special curated dinners that served distinctive Greek cuisine.
