At ITB Berlin in March this year, Mauritius unveiled its newest global promotion campaign titled “Feel our island energy”. Officially launched on 15th March 2023, the campaign puts the focus on the nation’s key allures which provide prospective visitors with much to discover and experience. To gain a wider reach amongst a global audience, Mauritius has been taking part in several other top trade fairs as well; these include those in the Middle East since travellers from this region are becoming a key source market for tourism in the country.
The “Feel our island energy” campaign was thus also showcased at the Arabian Travel Market 2023 from 1st to 4th May this year at the Dubai World Trade Centre; later that same month, Mauritius additionally participated in Saudi Arabia’s, Riyadh Travel Fair from 22nd to 24th May. Such initiatives are helping to boost the tourism industry in the country as travellers are reminded of what awaits from stunning natural beauty to the rich history and vibrant culture of Mauritius. 5 star resorts beside idyllic shores including the likes of The Residence Mauritius continue to be a popular choice be it for family getaways or romantic retreats attracting visitors from around the world.
