Accepting the invitation made by the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), media groups of South Korea and China recently visited the Maldives with the aim of promoting it as an affordable and relaxing destination to tourists of those countries.
These media familiarization trips are a novel initiative taken by MMPRC under its tourism promoting strategy for the upcoming years, through this PR session, some of the best hotels in Maldives and also the best attractions are expected to be covered. Since China and Korea are ranked the 01st and 12th positions for the highest performing markets of the Maldivian Tourism, this initiative will carry positive hopes, especially to the tourist resorts the likes of Adaaran Club Rannalhi and other local communities who run small businesses too.
