It is not just tourism that is reaching new heights in Thailand, but its medical and wellness sectors as well, which are attracting people around the world. This was put in the spotlight on The Nation news website on 15th February 2025, with the country set to become a leading player in the global wellness and medical tourism market. Apart from its appeal as a tourist destination, Thailand’s advancements in both traditional and modern medicine, as well as high-quality service, advanced medical care and wellness offerings are helping to attract new visitors. Also of note is the focus on “longevity medicine”, a growing field to promote well-being and prevent illness, thereby extending a healthy lifespan.
Amidst this backdrop, it’s no surprise that reputed names in the health and wellness industry have been looking to set up establishments in the country, including a longevity hub in Bangkok, the nation’s capital. A prime example would be Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie, which offers bespoke experiences and individual treatments covering cryotherapy, hydrothermal therapy, detoxifying body treatments, anti-ageing facials and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.
