An eagerly anticipated event by foodie enthusiasts from around the country, the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival 2018 featured a wide range of celebrations and programmes across the city. Held every March, this festival draws in over 250,000 attendees with Australian hotels in and around the Melbourne CBD including those belonging to brands such as Oaks Hotels & Resorts, offering easy access to event venues.
This year, the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival also showed its support for the MEL&NYC Festival which began in June and concluded in August. Celebrating and highlighting the cultural connections between New York City and Melbourne, the festival hosted a number of food and wine-related events with a special focus on the Big Apple. As part of the programme, foodie experts from both Melbourne and New York were also in attendance, hosting or getting involved in events across the city.
