Melt 2019 Festival of Queer Arts and Culture – Celebrate Diversity!
The people of Queensland celebrated diversity in an all-inclusive festival of queer arts and culture with Melt 2019 which was held from the 28th of June to the 7th of July 2019 in New Farm, Brisbane Area.
The event which occurs annually brought together Brisbane’s diverse communities regardless of gender, age, abilities, ethnicities, artistic ability and sexual orientation to enjoy 10 days of togetherness, humanity, humour and rebellion.
The event attracted a crowd from outside of Queensland as well for the demand in Brisbane hotels rose and places like Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites were booked in time for the festival.
Melt 2019 was organised by Brisbane Powerhouse and partnered by Tourism and Events Queensland, Queensland AIDS Council, the Queensland Government as well as many other festival and creative partners.
