Michelin Guide Thailand Comes to Koh Samui – Seeking Culinary Masterpieces

The acclaimed Michelin Guide has expanded in Thailand and was recently introduced to restaurants in Koh Samui and Surat Thani. As a result, the 2024 Michelin Guide will not only cover Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Phang-Nga, and Ayutthaya but also these two mainlands. The most recent addition before this was Isan in early 2023. The press conference held in April announced the plans to cover more areas in the guide. Meanwhile, Asia’s 50 best restaurants awards that were held earlier gave the top spot to Thai restaurant Le Du, making Thailand a hotspot for culinary enthusiasts.

Hotels in Samui the likes of Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club hold much potential to develop Michelin-star restaurants with their renowned chefs and exquisite ambience to experience culinary masterpieces.
