An event which saw some of the most famous names in TV come to Dubai, the Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) 2015 was held from 9th to 11th April. Featuring a host of celebrities, the festival took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre and those planning to attend such exhibitions in the future can consider staying at boutique hotels Dubai has to offer that are within easy reach of the venues such as Desert Palm Dubai.
One of the biggest draws of this year’s Middle East Film and Comic Con was the appearance of Star Trek legend William Shatner who played Captain James T. Kirk in the cult American TV show. Fans also had the chance to meet such big name TV stars as Gillian Anderson and Kelly Hu and director, Max Landis. The MEFCC also featured a variety of workshops and Q & A sessions that gave fans a chance to find out more about their much beloved shows, while cosplay competitions, a game zone and exclusive movie previews were among the many other highlights here.
