Miss World 2023 To Be Hosted in the UAE – Many Other Key Events Also Set for This Year

On 13th February this year, it was announced that the UAE will play host to Miss World 2023; this came via an Instagram post from Julia Morley, a Miss World Limited chairperson who said she was delighted that it was being hosted in the UAE and that more details will be forthcoming. This will mark the event’s 71st edition following last year’s Miss World beauty pageant, which was hosted in March 2022 in Puerto Rico where Karolina Bielawska, a Polish contestant was crowned the winner.

Of course, the UAE will also be hosting many other well-known events this year such as the Dubai Food Festival 2023 (21st April to 7th May) and the Dubai Comedy Festival 2023 (12th to 21st May); those staying at a 5-star hotel in Dubai such as the well-placed Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai can easily attend these events and enjoy the many experiences or performances on offer. This year, the UAE will additionally be hosting the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (22nd to 28th May), a Lewis Capaldi concert in Dubai (7th October) and the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (24th to 26th November).
