Monica Suri Appointed as General Manager of VARU by Atmosphere in the Maldives

In a recent change, Monica Suri was appointed as the general manager of VARU by Atmosphere; the property is part of Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts and is one of the leading Maldives all inclusive resorts offering distinctive accommodation options and a wealth of experiences for guests.

The new general manager at VARU by Atmosphere has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry and brings with her an impressive list of achievements; this includes being named the “General Manager of the Year” (in the “Upscale to Mid-Market” category) when she was employed at Marriott Jaipur. Her impressive résumé includes completing a Leadership Programme from Cornell, graduating from Bangalore’s Institute of Hotel Management and having a Sales and Marketing MBA. Apart from Marriott, she has also worked for well-known brands such as Le Méridien, Taj and Westin.
