Moranbah Sunday Markets 2015 Season Draws to a Close

A traditional market that takes place each month, the popular Moranbah Sunday Markets came to a close for the 2015 season this December. The market which is held at Town Square Avenue generally takes place on the last Sunday of each month beginning from February with the final market in December being held on the second Sunday instead. Moranbah Sunday Markets are held at Town Square Avenue and visitors planning to attend next year can look to stay at nearby Moranbah serviced apartments such as Oaks Moranbah. Currently run by the Moranbah Freemasons, the market is open from 8 am to 12 pm and is a fun family event that features a wide range of stalls selling such items as fresh vegetables & fruits, beachwear, clothing, women’s fashion, seafood, jewellery and various gift items. The funds raised from the Moranbah Sunday Markets are utilised for local community charities and projects.
