Udom Srimahachota, the vice president of the Thai Hotel Association, has noted an increase in the number of tourists from Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, and Germany choosing to visit Hua Hin in the Prachuap Khiri Khan province of Thailand. He expects the number of tourists from Europe and other countries to surpass those from China.
Chinese tourists tend to prefer destinations like Chiang Mai, Pattaya, and Phuket. Recent weeks have seen high occupancy rates in Hua Hin’s beaches, hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Hotels like Avani+ Hua Hin Resort also recorded an influx of European visitors in the past few months. This indicates a positive trend for tourism in the area and highlights the growing interest from European travellers in things to do in Hua Hin making it a preferred destination.
