A new era of luxury and culture elevates Morocco’s global appeal
Morocco’s tourism sector is thriving, welcoming 20% more foreign visitors in the first half of 2025. Revenue from tourist arrivals reached 54 billion dirhams, generating a profit of 4.7 billion dirhams, reflecting the country’s growing appeal as a premier destination.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, Fatima Zahra Ammor highlighted investments in tourist infrastructure and entertainment as key to extending stays, stimulating spending, and building traveller loyalty. Popular destinations, from the imperial cities of Marrakech and Fez to Chefchaouen and the High Atlas Mountains, continue to attract millions of European visitors.
The momentum also benefits luxury accommodations such as La Maison Arabe by Cenizaro, a renowned and preferred luxury hotel in Marrakech, offering travellers unique experiences that blend tradition with comfort. Strategic initiatives, including new thematic projects and improved connectivity, ensure Morocco remains competitive on the global tourism stage.
