Motorbike heaven: Sri Lanka’s laid-back and friendly southern coast

Southern Coast of Sri Lanka is a famous tourist haven with panoramic sunny coastal beaches, waves rolling in off the beautiful Indian Ocean sliding across the golden sand foaming at the feet of tilted palm and coconut trees and picturesque scenes of stilt fishermen engaged in their daily fishing routine for their livelihood. The locals seem to be quite laid-back and full of smiles always ready to help together with their warm welcoming attitude displayed towards visitors. Not only the beaches, but going inland you will be amazed with the discovery of dense jungles enveloped with streams, rivers and waterfalls making it a perfect place and easy to travel around area on a motorbike in order to maximise on visiting favourite tourist hotspots. The prime tourist attraction in Southern Coast is the capital of Galle where you can laze around and also engage in your convenient cycle and motor bike ventures on the narrow cobble stone streets inside the Old Dutch Fort besides many other marvellous colonial buildings to visit plus lots of sightseeing ventures outside in the city as well that you can easily cover. Going Deep South, you will appreciate the secluded golden beaches of Mirissa with some comfortable Mirissa hotels offering luxury accommodation such as Sri Sharavi Beach Villas.
