Mountain Movement Dance Collective in the Spotlight – Showcasing Dance in Whistler

Based in Pemberton, the Mountain Movement Dance Collective is known for giving children and teenagers a chance to showcase their talent in areas like Whistler, British Columbia, typically known for outdoor activities such as skiing. This was brought into the spotlight on 9th May 2022 on the Pique Newsmagazine website which also highlighted how the dance collective offers its dancers more exposure and experiences by participating in competitions.

The Mountain Movement Dance Collective became the “Top Studio” this year in a competition held in Vernon, while it also took part in the View Dance Challenge in Whistler last month. Additionally, on 31st May and 1st June 2022, it held its year-end dance recitals at the Whistler-based Maury Young Arts Centre located close to Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre. The venue also hosts various other events throughout the year and amongst the best things to do in Whistler is to catch such performances that make holidays here truly enriching.
