Mu Koh Ang Thong National Marine Park Reopens – Entry for Fully Vaccinated Tourists

As highlighted on the Bangkok Post news website in August this year, the Mu Koh Ang Thong National Marine Park in Surat Thani has reopened for fully vaccinated tourists. This was another boost for local tourism following the launch of the Samui Plus Sandbox scheme on 15th July 2021. Under this initiative, fully vaccinated tourists can enjoy quarantine-free holidays in Koh Samui; resort and hotel stay guidelines stipulate the first seven days must be at a Samui Extra Plus property, followed by a stay at a SHA+ certified property like Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort.

From such resorts, travellers can enjoy excursions to the Mu Koh Ang Thong National Marine Park home to 42 islands known for their pristine natural beauty and towering limestone cliffs. From relaxing at unspoilt beaches, trekking to jungle waterfalls and exploring hidden caves to enjoying kayaking, snorkelling and swimming, there’s much that fully vaccinated tourists can look forward to doing here.
