Namibia is once again open for business

Welcomes Tourists Back to the Country

Nambia is one of the countries in Africa that has successfully managed to deter the effect of the COVID19 pandemic. Starting in September of 2020, foreigners are welcome to Namibia but only through Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek.

If a guest is planning to stay at one of the hotels in Windhoek the likes of Avani Windhoek Hotel & Casino, they should know that only the borders at Noordoewer, Ariamsvlei and Walvis Bay are open. Namibia also requires tourists to produce a negative Coronavirus PCR test on arrival at the airport. All tourists will be confined to a seven-day quarantine that is mandatory on arrival. However, there is a conversation going about lifting this regulation as the year draws to a close. As of the 26th of October, direct from South Africa have recommenced.
