National Day Celebrations

A much anticipated event by patriots’ The National Day Celebrations of Singapore is where all persons regardless of race, religion or nationality gather to the streets to witness the country display its military strength. Celebrating its independence from Malaysia in 1966 the National Day is commemorated on 9th August every year and sees thousands of spectators itching to catch a glimpse of this marvel. The Celebrations includes a parade and the Premier’s speech followed by a generous fireworks display. Igniting feelings of pride in every Singaporean is a celebration of the country’s defence prowess. Singapore, in the days to come will be lit up with symbols encompassing pride thanks to the close approaching festivities.
