National Kite Festival 2017 – Calling All Participants!

Sri Lanka – considered as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean is well known for its vibrant beaches and colourful festivals. In order to truly experience Sri Lanka and its culture, one must take the time to witness local festivals. The National Kite Festival 2017 is one of the most colourful festivals that should not be missed when in the island. The festival will be held on the 12th and 13th of August at the Negombo Beach Park. Those planning on visiting this event and are looking for accommodation can consider staying at one of the beach resorts in Sri Lanka that are close to the venue such as Heritance Negombo. The kite festival will comprise a series of kiting events and competitions for young and old alike.
