Thailand’s Tourism Authority recently announced that the HK Express has begun a bi-weekly direct flight from Hong Kong to Thailand’s northern province of Chiang Rai.
The new agenda on the airline’s itinerary comes just as Thailand’s tourism peak season starts. As pointed out by the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the new route helps cater to the ever-growing number of tourists wanting to visit the beautiful province.
Over time Chiang Rai has grown in popularity as a tourism destination, especially amongst travelers from Hong Kong. This Northern Thailand province is rich with culture and attracts visitors with its breathtaking views and attractions. Tourists looking for hotels in Chiang Rai have plenty of options available, starting from high-end, luxurious getaways such as the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort and many others, to low-end budget hotels.
