New guidelines for PCR tests in Oman opens doors for travellers – Lifting barriers for international travel

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) recently has declared that health authorities in Oman agreed to change their guidelines with regards to PCR tests. According to this declaration, those who take long international flights to come to Oman should obtain their PCR results within 96 hours, and those who take shorter flights can present test reports taken within 72 hours.

Restaurants in Oman as well as hotels such as Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort have begun to serve international travellers already with dining and accommodation facilities. They maintain strict and well-monitored health and safety protocols to prevent the risks of spreading the virus. The governmental bodies also have declared that further amendments will happen depending on the situational changes and that these amendments will also be informed to the general public with immediate effect.
