New Queenstown wine festival for spring

The beautiful regions of Queenstown and Central Otago are renowned wine destinations with lush vineyards and buzzing wineries that produce some of the world’s most sought-after wines. This fun and interactive, one-of-a-kind wine festival will give the chance for wine lovers to engage in activities such as hand-disgorging yeast lees, walking through the vineyards and of wine tasting. The wine festival which will be held for 12 days starting from the 14th of October, will be involving more than 30 winegrowers.

Speaking about the festival, Queenstown wine enthusiast and event manager Bruce McGechan said, “This is where people don’t just go to a cellar door and taste wine, you can actually get absolutely immersed in the wine culture in the vineyards and the wineries.”
