On 6th October this year, the Maldives opened a new Code-F runway and seaplane terminal at its Velana International Airport. This landmark event was marked by a ceremony with the chief guest being the Hon. Faisal Naseem, the nation’s Vice President. Another significant occasion during this time was the inauguration of the Noovilu Seaplane Terminal at the airport which see all seaplane operations taking place under one roof providing more convenience for travellers.
