The constructions of the multi-modal passenger transport terminal recently commenced in Kandy and the project which will be completed in 2.5 years, is estimated to cost 10,000 Million LKR as an investment. The terminal is also expected to equip Kandy with an advanced transport center and the authorities believe that this will be a good initiative to minimize the heavy traffic congestions prevailing in the city.
