Colombo as we know it is the commercial hub of Sri Lanka, therefore, most people who wish to better their living standards in the past moved to Colombo. With the population in Colombo area increasing, businesses came up pretty fast too. With the affordability of individuals rising, in the recent past, apartments for sale in Colombo were set up as demand for residence here rose. These living spaces have been further modernized, such an example would be TRI-ZEN which will be up and running soon.

With the cumulative growth of businesses in Colombo, the suburbs have begun to develop with more families locating in the west of the island. This brings up the topic of the major traffic issues faced in Colombo. To better this, the government has decided to come up with a better network of roads to improve transportation. What’s more, the government hopes to implement a Light Rail System that will operate on electricity which is said to save travel time immensely.
