New Year in India – Celebrating the New Year the Indian way!

Though the New Year based on the Gregorian Calander is an optional holiday, the day is celebrated in an elaborate manner in India; people from all over the nation welcomed the New Year with an exquisite display of fireworks and many other celebrations. The partygoers start the New Year with music, fun and excitement visiting pubs and nightclubs during the New Years Eve. Most people on the New Year day wear new clothes that visit temples and pay homage to their gods; this is for the spiritual souls, tourists who were stationed at Bodhgaya hotels the likes of Oaks Bodhgaya witnessed the spiritual during the new year in India. Apart from that, almost all people exchanged New Year wishes, messages, greeting cards and gifts.
