New Year’s Celebrations in Wollongong – A Day Out with the Family

New Year’s Eve is coming up soon and everyone’s looking for a good way to spend the New Year countdown with their closest friends and family.

If you happen to be in the New South Wales region in Australia, the Wollongong City Council is hosting a family-friendly event down in Wollongong, at the Belmore Basin, Wollongong Harbour Foreshore Park. The event is set to begin at 6pm, 31st December 2016.

Being aimed mainly at families, the events will be completely alcohol-free. Activities taking place include live music, face painting, roving performers, amusement rides, food and novelty stalls as well as other children’s activities. A fireworks display will then be concluding the festivities, just before midnight strikes.
