No COVID-19 Arrival Restrictions in Namibia – Tourism Sector Supported by the Government

Making it an ideal destination to visit for the upcoming holiday season, Namibia no longer has any COVID-19 arrival restrictions in place making it easier than ever to enjoy trips here. Tourists are not required to show a vaccination certificate anymore or submit a negative result of a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival.

Apart from the removal of such restrictions, the government is continuing to support the tourism sector to draw more travellers. This was reiterated by Heather Sibungo, the country’s Deputy Minister of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism during the opening of the Namibia Tourism Expo 2022; this key event was held from 3rd to 5th November 2022 at Sport Klub Windhoek close to properties like Avani Windhoek Hotel & Casino in the nation’s capital; those staying at such hotels in Windhoek can look to experience some of the best this destination has to offer while enjoying safe accommodation as well.
