North Bali Introduces New Tourism Programs

Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (MoTCE) is working to enhance tourism in North Bali, a region rich in natural beauty yet often overlooked. A key part of this strategy includes hosting a media familiarization trip to highlight North Bali’s unique attractions, such as Pemuteran Bay’s underwater temple garden, Lovina Beach, and Munduk’s waterfalls. The trip also emphasised the Buleleng-Banyuwangi travel package, which is central to the broader 3B travel programme aimed at promoting North and West Bali, as well as Banyuwangi.

North Bali’s tourism development focuses heavily on eco-tourism and community involvement. Attractions like the Handara Golf & Resort Bali offer eco-friendly accommodations, while ongoing conservation projects include coral reef restoration, turtle habitat preservation, and tree planting. Sandiaga Uno, the Minister of Tourism, is committed to expanding the 3B packages to draw more attention to Bali’s lesser-known destinations. Those looking for a luxury villa for sale, or staying in one like the Anantara Ubud Bali Villas, will find the opportunities to view Bali’s excursions and attractions much easier and more comprehensive than before.
