Oman Air was recently recognised as the ‘Leading Airline in the Middle East’ in both the Economy and Business Class divisions at the 25th edition of World Travel Awards, beating ten other Middle Eastern carriers. The prestigious awards were received on behalf of Oman Air by Chief Commercial Officer Paul Starrs, and Country Manager, Jamal al Azki. The CEO of Oman Air, Eng Abdulaziz al Raisi expressed great delight in winning the awards and stated that they were looking forward to the continuous development of the carrier in the years ahead.
The airline also received recognition this year at the Apex Regional Passenger Choice Awards by the official Four-Star Airlines Rating as well for its continued contributions to the betterment of the tourism industry in the sultanate, with many an Oman resort including the likes of Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort experiencing a steady influx of foreign visitors yearly.
