The Oman Energy and Water Exhibition 2015 which is an annual event in Oman, was recently held and concluded from 19 to 21 May at Oman International Exhibition Centre, Muscat. This exhibition is designed to create a platform for stakeholders to come together and discuss burning issues and find suitable solutions to the energy and water challenges faced within the country and also provide opportunities in Oman. The event also focus on discussing ways to improve collaboration among local key sectors in both public and private to share knowledge and information while forging joint initiatives to achieve a sustainable growth plan for the future. A key emphasis is placed in bringing foreign players who could invest financially as well as with the technology and capital to develop modern utilities required to meet demand. Companies also get an opportunity to showcase their products, services and solutions to potential buyers and partners. With the influx of foreigners and locals to attend the exhibition and conference, most leading hotels including Al Wadi Hotel, a family hotel Oman has to offer were fully occupied.
