In a bid to kick-start the industry, tourism activities in Oman have begun to resume; this was previously highlighted in a September article published online by the Times of Oman which was quoting the Oman News Agency (ONA). As part of this strategy, a campaign was launched to boost domestic tourism and encourage locals to explore and experience Oman; resort and hotel options abound with properties the likes of Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort providing unique getaways.
While tourism activities and accommodation are on offer, they have to adhere to strict guidelines and protocols that have been put in place to combat the spread of COVID-19. While in October, international flights from Oman resumed to certain destinations, it will be hoped that tourists will soon be welcomed back as well.
