Botswana Visa System Goes Digital

Those who are thinking of travelling to Botswana can look forward to completing their visa applications online in the near future. The government of Botswana has joined hands with Israel’s Pangea IT, a trusted global supplier of digital identity and ePayment solutions, to expand the country’s digital and online services. Pangea’s eVisa solution will enable travellers planning on arriving in Botswana in order to experience a seamless holiday at hotels in Gaborone the likes of Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino to obtain an online visa; this would let them enter into the country in a hassle-free manner.

This new step towards digitalization will increase the efficiency of the government by replacing paperwork with effective digital solutions. Pangea IT is also working on updating the existing computerised systems of immigration and citizenship of the country.
